About ME

I began my artistic career with landscape photography and found my  greatest inspiration in the interplay of light and air. I lend expression to these fleeting but striking moments with oil paints, which simultaneously reflect my mood and emotions. 

My artistic concept can be described as a poetic and deeply emotional examination of the ever-changing forces of nature. In the style of lyrical abstraction, I create works that capture atmospheric processes and emphasize their changeability and uniqueness.

The choice of mixed media allows me to intensify the works through haptic elements and to offer the viewer an almost three-dimensional access to the depicted scenes. My artworks are timeless yet in constant transformation – a reflection of the discontinuity and calm found in the tides of the universe. The extend production time of my works, due to the use of oil paints, is a conscious decision and stands as an antithesis to today's fast-paced, hectic world. 

My works are about embodying emotions – captured in an atmospheric moment that is part of a never-ending flow. The result is images that invite the viewer to rest, but at the same time radiate a powerful, dynamic liveliness through their depth structure and color compositions.
